Bro. Albert Nelson has been a licensed Church of Christ minister for 42+ years and the minister of Sand Hill for 30 years.  He has been married to Sis. Judy Nelson for 48 years and together, they have four boys, Demetrius, Detrick, Brandon and the late Deron Nelson.  

Bro. Nelson is from Christiana, TN but resides in Murfreesboro, TN.   He is employed with National Guardian Life and Investors Heritage Insurance companies. Current position is producing area sales manager for the State of Tennessee, from Bristol to Memphis.  Funeral Director and owner of the Nelson & Son’s Memorial Chapel and Nelson & Sons Chapel Murfreesboro. He is a member of Tennessee State Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Inc. and Middle Tennessee Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Board Member of the Tennessee State Youth Conference Steering Committee, Member of the NAACP Murfreesboro Chapter, Supporter and Sponsor of the Murfreesboro Branch MLK Breakfast and Freedom Fund Banquets, Member of the Stones River Manor Board Assisted Living of Murfreesboro and President of the Gilliland Historical Resource Center, Shelbyville.
